Light Energy at the surface of The Earth

UVC — 0%

UVB — 0.5% (blocked by glass, penetrates outer skin layers: stratum corneum and epidermis; reaches The Earth maximally between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.)

UVA (short and long) — 9.5% (penetrates all the skin's layers: stratum corneum, epidermis, dermis and hypodermis; reaches The Earth maximally throughout the day.)
